How to Secure Furniture to the Wall

Use safety brackets to secure heavy furniture to the wall and prevent accidental injury to children.

There are convenient brackets designed to help prevent furniture from tipping over most safety brackets have three parts. One part attaches to the wall the other part attaches to the furniture. Using a drill and drill bit that is slightly smaller than the screw drill the pilot holes for the furniture bracket. Take time to consider what's on the other side of the place you're drilling into. Now using the screws that came in the bracket secure the bracket into the furniture. Move the furniture back into position. Aligning the bracket so that one is directly in front of the other. Lace the detachable strap through the brackets. Pull the strap tight and trim the excess strap to the wire cutter. with the strap snugly in place. Her furniture is now secure."
