" Well, I'm gonna use a white chalk line before, Ed."
" So Bob, the reason for a white chalk line is the pigments in the different colored chalk that might just color the product."
" Yes. Okay. Now you've got all 4 of your lines, and of course, the chalk line helps this line up with the rest of square."
" That's correct. What we're gonna do, Bob will cut through this product using a regular utility knife with a brand new blade to make it's nice and sharp and drive through."
" Yeah."
" It's a [unk] product [unk] you really just to bear down and double cut through both pieces to get a nice, sharp, left cut. Just work your way through very slowly to make sure you don't jump off of each square. Come back and line it up with your other edge, and just continue to drive through. You never wanna put your knife, Bob because if you do, Bob, what's gonna happen is when you go to press it back in, you might possibly cut through a different area you don't [unk]. 1 thing that we'd like to do is keep a straight edge on the piece that's going into the floor so what happens if you Don't---- As you cuddle through, you don't to have the product rise up on you and have it too big for the piece that's going into the floor so you can cut out."
" So what's the next step?"
" Well, the next step, what we're gonna do is take the paper off. Go ahead and get that scrap out of the way. We'll move our inset and go ahead and place some adhesive."
" Okay. Let's insert, and we've cut through the floor there."
" Alright."
" It's quite clear. There you go."
" Where are we now?"
" Okay."
" And do you have to do any final trimming?"
" Yeah. We're gonna have to go ahead and take a little bit of this backing up."
" Yeah."
" Because if you don't, what's gonna happen, Bob is we'll ready to strap the shoulder areas."
" Go ahead."
" So we'll just go ahead, turn some of the excess."
" Okay. Now we're ready to put down some adhesive."
" We'll spread a little adhesive underneath here. Thank you, Bob. We'll try to make sure there's a plenty of adhesive on the edges because what that will do is possibly knock half the wall of the [unk] sealer if we don't [unk] too well."
" The seam sealer will be the next step here?"
" The seam sealer is the last step."
" Got it."
" You got to make sure that you don't----"
" So this is just a vinyl flooring adhesive?"
" Yes, it is. It's a latex adhesive."
" Latex. And what size is the notch on this saw?"
" This is a 6 inch x 3."
" That's what I thought, 16."
" [unk] is a heavier mass than you would normally run across. I wanna make sure we have enough adhesive. Make sure that you'll hold the ceiling well."
" That's good."
" It's a really off shot."
" Alright. Well, I'm gonna let you put this on, alright?-Okay, Bob. So what we'll do is we'll just go ahead and [unk] in the corner."
" Turn off the corner."
" Turn off in the corner, and they're ready to roll. Just go ahead. Put the ring there. As you can see how nice and neat except when you double cut the product."
" Yeah."
" It looks extremely well."
" Well, what fascinates me is that it's a simple way to get some really good design and produce kitchen floor."
" You can really wrap some real market product [unk] or especially something in this type of the design."
" Exactly. It's vinyl floor. It's simple. It's elegant. It looks terrific."
" What we'll do now is stick this floor. There's got to be a wall in there with small area. You wanna make sure that you spread the adhesive out evenly."
" Uh huh."
" To make sure that you don't have any ridges as well. So once you wanna go ahead and do it, set your steamroller so it's nice and neat thing out here."
" Don't you have to put an adhesive on the machine?"
" No. Not with this particular product. You don't wanna any adhesive on the machine. The reason for that Bob is the seam sealer that we use. What are these is actually wear layers suspended in the [unk] room, the solvent issued [unk] diffuses it back into 1 solid piece."
" So we'll have a chemical reaction between the 2."
" Exactly."
" So how long will the seam filler take this?"
" It takes about 20 minutes to set up and 24 hours to totally dry."
" And we can walk around and move furniture back on it. Nice job, Ed."
" That's what [unk]."
" Thanks a lot. Nice time too."
" Thank you."
