" OK so we're now ready to attach some of the casings to the new opening for the laundry closet and Terry has basically salvaged some of the casing stock that was here. -- been -- finished. And miter cut to fit. And that sure does look for all the world like. Wax paper behind it now would you do that porch area filled accent Fleetwood. That makes it easier for the homeowner to paint. Paint the walls or touch up the prefinished -- OK so that's a very good tip when you're working with prefinished moldings or natural wood. And this of course is that the closet that we're going to slide in the whirlpool stacked washer dryer is gonna fit right there we hope so yes. What's the cleat here for that's what we're gonna put the laundry folding table. Yes and that is basically leave it there at the top of this old Dresser. That the homeowner bought for 35 dollars at a flea market and -- what we did you move the top. And beefed up the cabinet so wasn't so feeble even -- could be used as a good vanity so -- basic. -- now a permanent installed. Vanity and essentially the plumbing comes right through back here. The the top has been cut out to receive the Surell top with the the lavatories. This can be pulled off to access the plumbing should unique to. But then the two bottom drawers will actually work as storage areas. And so you're gonna make this a folding table right. But not a table that folds down but rather a tabletop for folding laundry yes -- That fits right onto the cleat. And then landed and then we'll add a leg on this corner over here. All right in the two doors have been modified to prevent. That the new. Now you start out three doors right."
" It's we started out -- to -- one which was broken and a five panel door. And basically we cut down a five panel took it apart and made the rails wider. That's adding a three quarters piece to each and then we put new panels in and paired the doors."
" That's not a lot of trouble to go to quartz you want to have them match up like this and look correct who could -- had a custom -- made. Let it all at once you're brave and can knock the doors apart easily -- takes about two hours to do little to do the work so it is now. It is economical. Now let's say hi to Ken Beck who's here from atlas fabrications with our new Surell top from Formica hi guys paid him. Wait a minute now Larry are you ready to put it honored you have to go to construction -- children. Now this is a free form countertop that's. Backed with plywood but we'll see the actual Surell in a minute which is of course the man made product that looks like stone. What colors that's what they call us as a cornerstone. Correct rest on the cause. Very nice. And so this will hang over the side you'll have the vanity in the bottom and I think I've got to lavatory right here which is. Eighty Kohler portrait model. In sandbar. That's going to look nice. Now it's time to restore the marble floor. Arthur Hooper from marble perfection is using industrial diamonds to return the original factory surface then uses diamond pads and a compound. To put high polish slip resistant finish on the floor."
" Now it's time to take a look at the completed. Restored remodeled bathroom and Markus Earley is still putting lights -- tell me about this -- this. Well this mirror is an ornamental piece that the owner. Provided and we helped them put them laughing and that's strictly decorative and Terry our carpenter made for an important so you're just back lit it. And then these antiques these are replication antiques from rejuvenation lighting and it. Really no need for -- to have two lights on each side and here when grooming yeah OK here you want to have light coming from both sides that beautiful job markets thank you so much now let's say hi to PKR owner's daughter who. You did this and I watched this come together over the weeks that it's taken -- amazed I mean what's the inspiration. Inspiration is attic pottery which is an ancient style of Greek vases. But these are facts and -- hours. How about two months of -- hey congratulations and over here we have the completed laundry closet with a stacked whirlpool washer dryer. The other thing that's beautiful in this bathroom. Is the original marble floor which was restored last week our friend Arthur Hooper from marble perfection was here and look at the fabulous job that he's done of restoring it. Pat Simon the homeowner and artisan. Boy what -- job you've done -- think it's magnificent now I know that you're a potter and I expected to see some pottery but I'm amazed that you've. Managed to work at all these borders everywhere well I think inspiration from UK's design. And many animals. Kinds that come from. Attic pottery from the same attic pottery except they've got kind of contemporary twist they're almost sort of like caricatures of lions and and work on all sorts of jungle animals and you did approximate the green the original accent tile here along."
" I couldn't mention exactly because of the tin glaze and most potters do not use tin glaze anymore how dangerous. And but AMOCO helped me come up with a green that matched pretty well."
" Neat well it does work very well with the old it's yours well -- in the news is a Kohler sandbar color. Which works in well you know -- everything else and then you've got your menagerie of pots and orchids in the corner yes. Fabulous very nice job and the lavatory with your. Wonderful. Find at the flea market which paint that your 35 -- 35 bucks and then you've got the built in sink. The whole thing works together very nicely and of course we have to say. Thank you to Terry our contractor who's done a fabulous job. Congratulations."
