" We've made some serious transformations to the exterior of this house obviously the colors not what it once was it was just plain old white farmhouse and -- got a very contemporary color scheme with the two or three different shades of greens but I think the principal improvement that we've done to the whole plan is to. Build this breezeway connection between the old barn area and the house itself so that now the transformed space which is an artist's studio in there can be easily accessed from the inside of the house before we go inside let's go on the front of the house to meet our homeowner. Now the only changes to the front facade of the house as we move the door over to the left and we put some glass in the gable end. And that makes quite a change from the inside to let's say hello to homeowner Rick Larsen -- I guess putting finishing touches here. Yes is this a sign my brother and sister in law earned -- gave -- as a gift that -- size of Vermont that's nice not the main changes back here have a lot to do with this deck right. That's a portrait electric Charleston and the two tone paint job we did on that yeah it's very modern it really stands out and of course that the center bay here up on the third floor where we changed -- little French doors -- the Romeo and Juliet balcony that really works -- here specially. -- how things work out on the second floor of the barn in the studio area -- were really amazed that the floors turned out to be wonderfully were old and ugly and now they're just extraordinarily beautiful once they've been taken down I think nothing like a good sanding job congratulations originally -- love living here thank you Bob."
