" What's the thinking here in terms of what you've done for us what does this is the living area yet. Let's talk about colors well I think that we took our cue from the walls -- this kind of let working on so we did this very. Rich. C marmorino that was standing right local Brooklyn artist Jonas Everett's and he's -- a great -- throughout the apartment it's beautiful looks so rich and so most of the palette relates to that most of the palette that we use the sort of camel colored leather camel mohair. And -- furniture this rich wooden. Stinging -- this chair are they vintage pieces or did -- the chair and the sofa are from my furniture collection as is the mirrored coffee table in -- Added into the rich woods and leathery feel is this kind of happy -- as well as well like. In New York you're healthy to be happy you get these punchy red cushions and the carpet itself yeah we have punchy red cushions we have put mustard in here the carpet is very strong now is if he's any of the furniture vintage what's this is this -- intentional chair designed by Warren Plath and her. It's one of my favorite mid century design -- Barack conduct and we upholstered it and look how how how does this green make it into the equation. Well again that's a happy color is from my lacquer collection. And my personal philosophy is that colors can't really clash. Many people are often very timid with color and try to do very coordinated scenarios I think it's fantastic to bring in. Improbable color for one thing you've done is you've kind of got a little bit of it here a little bit -- it you know a lot of it over there yes it's kind of sprinkled around. Here we have this dining area that's just set -- Apart now this is a very acidic area we use. These chair and cities. Well acidic color if it really is yeah he has an acid green -- mixed with like a -- you know it's it's very strong and then these chairs are these. Chinese Chippendale chairs and on which to hear very kind of walking Palm Beach -- just an improbable. An improbable element to -- this what but I think it all kind of work well you know some some people inherit grandmother's stuff yeah exactly this is you know. As if you happen and he rich Palm Beach grandmother. We -- we also have great fantasy Seattle I think I like is the domestic lines that have been. Install switcher Smith and noble one of the interesting things is that they're the reverse they go from this. Bottom up to the top and that means that you can you know use use living here just kind of happening halfway down. And it gives you privacy but still let a lot of light in."
