" Jason Hill is here from New England classic and they make -- paneling systems welcome Jason -- Tell me what we're looking at here -- is a New England classic classic American wall paneling it's it's a flat panel it's how flat panel. -- totally flat as opposed to a raised panel which would be more colonial look right so this kind of aesthetically anchored in what period. Primarily the arts and crafts shaker style so late eighteen hundred's yes good. And what's it made out. It's a medium density fiberboard the the lineal components the rails the cap and the shoe all have a Melamine paper wrap so they stay nice and smooth and you don't have any Terrell. Where the the feeds are. And the other panels come up primed and yes this is paint grade which is what we wanted in here that we know that we're going to be able to paint it so that it's an exact match with the kitchen cabinets which are being made by a separate company in a separate shop. OK so let's look at how the the whole system gets installed is the the panels themselves are simply. The sheets that are what about a quarter inch thick but creates. And John what's what's these adhesive that you've put on that this is just -- Olympia. The judges and yes -- minor construction right normal panel adhesive that gets used all over the place. And Jason what's the point of having to put the adhesive on there. The first -- holds it to the wall. While it's being it's also doesn't fall down -- second all forces it away from the the wall and into the style so it takes up any spaces between Stiles and panels again nice smooth I -- Sally is the vertical piece. Horizontal pieces are called rails. But Stiles -- the vertical pieces that you see in between each one of these flat. So the idea is fitted into each one of these rather this. Style sense that it gets locked Sarah. -- is this kind of installation that a do it yourself for a homeowner can contemplate with central and Oakland suit and -- out of everything just kicks into his confidence in what about laying it out in the room I mean this is a very big room where did you get started -- and there's just make sure that -- define -- roots. -- Did you from -- OK so you've found the center of the room and then you placed one panel right dead on center there so that. Going in either direction you're gonna have. -- would distance that you're gonna have. And Stiles that are the same width exactly and so it's okay we're gonna watch you we're going to take a closer look at these components down here. Jason the the pieces that are supplied for. The talks. These right here -- to her and DO right yes they are. And they're Melamine paper -- to keep them nice smooth and ready to paint OK is system like this available in like wood finishes. Absolutely us. She's -- people are sharing just by the unfinished and we have a variety of standard finishes that we so it's not any kind of a photo finish it's actual wood veneer that's a wood. Wood veneer applied over for a -- OK. Well let's watch as they make progress here. When you've got a products that this this then. It's also good idea defied the panel adhesive so that you don't have any kind of buckling or movement away from the wall right. If a homeowner wants to put this in in his own remodeling project how do you go about it you have to hire an architect. I know actually via the easiest way to do it to do it is to go to our website New England classic dot com we offer free design service you can find design request forms for regular straight walls like this or stairs -- the measurements are different. And our designers can lay out all -- and now provide a material list that you don't have to which the dealer -- we'll -- you actually amazing. All right so Jason this is the top rail. And they'll be two components there with a cap as well all right yes support for a look at -- which cause portrayal -- cap and the cap. Ended John why we put the scarf cut on it like that slash cut if there's ever any. Shrinkage I think if you just put into Jennifer's -- chickens in city got. -- anyone or avoid a butt right to you might see gap as -- this doesn't just treatments is unstable excellent. And the recommended place to nail is at the -- right yes. All right then the final piece is as you're calling it OK. -- cap piece that goes right there right -- and it really gives that are very nice nineteenth century finished thank you Jason. Thanks for us looks very good thanks well."
