" The part of Yonkers will be working it is called the hollows -- it's a working class neighborhood in transition. Nestled between hills and hollows is known for its trinity trojans -- Catholic -- lutherans and one Russian orthodox. All three are active forces in the improvement of the community. While most people think of Yonkers is just another suburb of New York City in fact it's an Independent city the fourth largest in the state. Joining us now as mister John Spencer. The out of the mayor of Yonkers thank you Bob and welcome to Yonkers were proud to have your -- Tell me a little bit about your plans for the redevelopment of the city."

" Well -- city in recovery where or under our own refurbishment like like you're doing your TV series home again -- you build back houses we need to do that to a large city. We'll break we're bringing it back in everything from an infrastructure to our stairs to maintain any old architecture in the sense of history and a very big old city. That is coming on line that you've got that but you've also got a very diverse population don't you yes we're very proud of that again where the fourth largest city in the state to 1000 people. We've become a magnet for many many ethnic groups and makes us a very rich city. Because we share each other's culture background and we celebrate with each other on various occasions throughout the year. We're working together to bring our city back."

" Sure and -- and of course you've got the richness of this Hudson river location. Any plans for. Riverfront development this whole area we're standing -- Bob is being refurbished with a housing and recreational activities and marina and want people down here to enjoy that beautiful assets that god has given us with our sunset palisades. And we say is the most beautiful city and ultimately are remark about I wish you luck hope you'll come by and visit the blitz build we will Bob thank you very much okay."
