" Hi, I'm Tim Woods with the Internet Home Alliance. I'm sitting here in a brand new 2002 Chevy truck from General Motors. Many of you maybe familiar with GeoMonster, but you might not be familiar with Virtual Adviser. I'm gonna walk you through many of opportunities that Virtual Adviser allows. Virtual Adviser"

" Connectin to On Star Virtual Adviser."

" It's connecting right now. What I'm gonna show you is 1st how to get email; next, how to get your local weather wherever you are; and the 3rd, how to use a name tag to make a phone call."

" Let me know if there's something you'd like to hear 1st; otherwise, I'll just get you clarifier."

" Get my email."

" Moving to email. There's nothing new for you at the moment, but you still have old messages. Would you like me to read them now?"

" Yes."

" You have 1 old message. Here it is. Message from:"

" beth@pressmytailor.com ."

" Subject."

" Read mails."

" Received Monday, September 10, at 3:04 P.M."

" Play it."

" Bob, we are running low on finishing nails here at [unk]. Would you please stop at the hardware store and take"

" Saturday, expect partly cloudy skies with high of 62 and a low of 37."

" Goodbye. Goodbye. "

" Call."

" Name tag, please."

" Dominick."

" Calling."

" Dominick."

" What I've done is I've actually taken my buddy's phone here, Dominick, and I've programmed it into the memory back of my name tag, Dominick's number. It's going through. There you go. 1 of the other things that's always great about On Star is that you can get a real person when you need it, and that's simply by touching the On Star button. Let's try it."

" Connecting to On Star."

" On Star was 1 of the premieres"

" On Star offers all of its customers, and quite frankly it's a great thing for me. Let's say for some reason you locked your keys in the car. Well, this happens so much for me that I've actually programmed the On Star number into my phone, so let's call them. It's ringing. Hi, this is Tim Woods from Detroit, Michigan. I've locked my keys in the car. My account number? 8742. And my pin, 4262. Thank you. There we go. So let's review what we've covered with On Star. Well, you've got Virtual Adviser, which allows you to kinda build a profile menu of my sports, my weather, my stock quotes. You've also got the GeoMonster symbol, which gets you to a personal real live person who can help you with directions; where the nearest gas station, restaurant, or hotel is. And we've also got Crystal calling with name tags. You can build basically an auto dial menu to let you get to anyone you want to just by saying their name. I guess I'm all set. Take care."

Installing Molding
Installing Molding

Dress up the rooms in your house with a variety of custom moldings. These moldings are available in many historic profiles. You can add a one piece baseboard molding for a 19th century look. Poplar chair rails and picture moldings add detail and take paint well. And for a more elegant look add a multi-piece crown molding to the ceiling.

Ladder Work
Ladder Work

Here are some tips that will make working on a ladder easier. Use elastic cords to secure a small plastic basket to the top of your stepladder to hold your tools. If you're on an extension ladder, slide a broom handle through a hollow rung and hang a bucket for tools from that. Keeping your tools close at hand, you'll save several trips up and down the ladder.

Hanging Wallboard
Hanging Wallboard

When hanging wallboard on an angle, try this technique. Measure the length from the edge of the wall to the end of the angle. Next, measure the height - think of it as outlining a triangle. Mark the measurements on your wallboard and snap a chalkline.

High Efficiency Plumbing Fixtures
High Efficiency Plumbing Fixtures

Here is some valuable information about new products for the bathroom. New codes require that plumbing fixtures use less water. To comply with these standards, look for high efficiency products. For example, toilet tanks are only allowed a capacity of 1.6 gallons. New models adjust to these codes by having larger water areas, bigger 2" traps, and powerful siphoning jets.
