" Hi, I'm Tim Woods with the Internet Home Alliance. I'm standing here in front of our ADTI Center. What's unique about this product beyond the great monitoring security services that ADT provides is all of the functionality that the I Center provides. This device really has taken home security to the next level. It's connected to the internet and you can actually do a lot of things with this that you can't do with the normal security system. What you may remember is that our normal security system, you have a keypad. You have the ability to go in and secure the system or disarm the system. With the ADTI Center, you actually have a touch screen basically simplifying the whole process for you as the consumer. Now, let me walk you through some of the functionality of this device. As an example, we can set up your own home page. Actually, every individual in the home can set up their own home page and put your personal preferences on there such as weather, sports, news. So let's touch on weather. It will actually go out and get the local weather for your area until the weather is like brighten out. Right now, it's raining in our area. so not only do we get today's weather, but we get the forecast of weather over the next several days as well as you can, if you're a business traveler, get weather for the destinations that you maybe going to. The great thing about this is is that it's constantly refreshing. It's going back to the ADT servers and this just went back at 9:03 A.M. to get more information. So let's go back to our home page. So as well, we've got our home page. We have messaging, lighting security. Let's go into messaging. 1 of the great things about this is is not only can you tide in with your phone system, you can also tide them with your email, and 1 of the great functions of this is let's say if you're a parent and you have kids and you wanna send them a reminder, you can actually go in and record a message that they can then play back when they get home if they're gonna check their home page. So, as an example, we recorded this message earlier."

" Memo received."

" tie it in for convenience. Let's say you walked in the front door, and 1 of the things you wanna do is turn on the lights in the kitchen because you're coming in with a handful of groceries. You can do that from this panel, and don't have to stumble around in the kitchen when you get there. Because this is obviously the ADTI Center, we also wanna show you the security features. Well, if I go into security, I have 2 options. I have the old option of basically manually putting in the code or using this new touch screen. Now, up here you'll see it says ready to arm. Well, let's say we're not ready to arm and a door is open. It will actually show you that it's not ready and default, so let's go to show fault, and it's basically telling you that the front door is open. So if I close the door, we're back to ready to arm. So let's go to away. So now we're now in the armed way mode. So let's say we're coming home and we wanna disarm the system. Let's put in our key number, we entered our code, and we're back to our normal setting. 1 of the greatest things about this system is that if you can get internet access then you can access all of the functionality of this system. You can control it from anywhere as long as you can get to your website. Let me show you what I made. From sitting here with my laptop and virtually I could be anywhere as long as I can get internet access. What that allows me to do is be able to log in to my I Center home page, put in my pass code and then I can actually see what's going on in my house. I can remotely arm or disarm the system. I can see if somebody had broken in. as an example, let's say that plumber is coming over to fix the master bath. He can actually call me from the front porch, I can log in to the system, and I can actually disarm the house, allowing him to enter the home without setting off the alarm. Once he's done, he simply calls me wherever I am, maybe on my cellphone, and as long as I had internet access, I can go back in and rearm the system. This really does help when you're talking about convenience, not taking days off for work, allowing people to come and go into the house. You can also set up a pass code so they can actually come into the home, put in the pass code number, and it's temporary so they can't reenter the pass code and come into the home later. They'd actually have to have permission. All in all, the I Center, with its flexibility,"
