matieral to use under the decking for the "roof" of the garage. We have a few feet to get a subtle grade. Seems like a rubberroof would do the trick and since it will be covered, it will not be subject to the UV problems that plague most rubber roofs
That should do it with these exceptions, You don't need the layer of tarpaper under a rubberroof. The EPDM gets glued directly to the plywood sheathing. And you need 3/4" thick plywood sheathing T&G instead of 1
I have a home with a flat roof. The roof had rolled roofing covered with tar and silver paint. Now I am being told a rubberroof would be put on over the existing roof... is this ok? All I can find on the internet is rubberroofing for mobile homes.
