I brought a Master Mechanic CompoundMiterSaw at a garage sale. It works fine except the saw blade doesn't cut through to the back of the wood. No manual came with it. Any help out there? Thank you.
I've been intending to buy a Dewalt708 12" Sliding double-bevel compoundmitersaw for some time now. But the RIGID equipment on the recent set of Home Depot TV ads has me interested in the Rigid 12" equivalent
I for one much prefer the DeWalt saws to the Craftsman. I have been using DeWalt compoundmiter saws for many years and would never trade it for a Craftsman. I used to use Craftsman power tools but found them lacking in many respects (the biggest one was durability). Glenn
I just purchased this saw from ***** . when I got home i tried the manner they state in the manuel. the saw is a bad design. I took one back to the fence to the position it calls for. The saw has 4 bolts that give in no play to adjust
used different manufacturers to make their tools: thereby sacrificing the quality they once had. I've owned a DeWalt 12" saw for about 4 years now and have had no problem with it. The old adage my friend; You get what you pay for. Len
In selecting a major purchase, I would suggest always checking the specs on items. just recently, HD took on the line of Rigid tools, which most wont be available until Jan of 2004. I can assure you that Dewalt stands for itself in the construction field.
Good to hear about the 10". For Xmas my husband got me the Fire Storm by Black and Decker 10" CompoundMiterSaw with Laser. I asked for a mitersaw so I could learn how to put up crown moulding. I plan to get the table on Saturday. Very Ambitious
