scraper, even a screwdriver sometimes). Maskingtape often bleeds like that, especially when the wet paint is above the maskingtape such that gravity drags it down. Maskingtape is o.k. for trim, but most people consider
painted 2 - 3 years ago. They put regular maskingtape on the aluminum windows (outside) before painting, but never removed the tape. I have tried "Oops" and "Goo Gone" to get the tape and crud off. I have most of the tape off

Use the blue tape instead of maskingtape. Also just learned a trick on textured walls. Put the blue tape on in a straight line then use a small amount of latex caulking
Hi Ratliff, To be sure of the tape you use, you can read the 'inside' of the roll. There, it should read Painter's Tape. MaskingTape is 'bad news'. My best to ya and hope this helps. Jay J -Moderator
try goof-off. And next time you paint, don't use maskingtape. Keep a damp cloth in your other hand, and if you make a little boo-boo, wipe it off as you go along, and repaint.
Before starting your next paint job, have your tools ready. For the prep, you'll need putty, a putty knife, sandpaper, maskingtape, drop cloths, wash buckets, rags and liners. You may also need a step ladder for those hard to reach areas. Of course, you will also need the right brushes and rollers for the job.
